The American Association of Philatelic Exhibitors

The American Association of Philatelic Exhibitors exists to share and discuss ideas and techniques for improving standards of exhibit preparation, judging, and the management of exhibitions. AAPE serves the entire range of people who work or have an interest in one or more of these fields; whether novice, experienced, or just beginning to think about getting involved. Through pursuit of our purposes, it is our goal to encourage your increasing participation and enjoyment of philatelic exhibiting, and to ensure the health of this part of our hobby.

Women Exhibitors

WE provides a vehicle for women exhibitors to encourage each other through sharing information, ideas, experience, advice, problems, and solutions. WE welcomes women and men. WE serves as a forum for women to discuss and explore issues relating to exhibiting. WE encourages newcomers to exhibiting and helps them get started. Continuing exhibitors serve as mentors and lend support to all as they share lessons learned.

WE has meetings twice yearly at the Great American Stamp Show and AmeriStamp Expo. Summaries of programs and workshops held at these shows are shared through the newsletter and WE Think. In addition, satellite meetings are held at national, regional, and local shows. Leaders of the satellite meetings discuss issues and share information from other meetings. WE meetings are open to all, but philately is explored from a woman's point of view.
